Specialized Pet Care
Dr. Kamal provides services in routine care and procedures such as dental check-ups, ear flushes, geriatric care, puppy and kitten start-ups, Parvo treatment, C-sections, dermatology, bone surgeries (varies), boarding and phone consultations, ear and tail dock, and much more!
Mercy Animal Medical Center is well equipped with a full surgical room, including urinalysis, in-house blood machine, and dental equipment. Having these capabilities in-house allows us to better serve you and your pet.
Our customers are pleased with not only the expert knowledge and dedicated experience required for an excellent veterinary center, but also the extra special care and attention that is received when they come to us.

In these hectic and harried times, when most veterinarians rush their clients through and give them little explanation of procedures that need to be done, Dr. Kamal is the exception to that behavior. Indeed, I find Dr. Kamal to be a very kind, caring, and compassionate man, who always gives tender and loving care to the pets he treats in his practice. He also gives careful explanations of procedures that need to be done to the owners of the pet he is treating. Aside from this, if a pet owner stops by to get a refill on a particular medication for his/her pet, if Dr. Kamal is between clients, he always greets the owner and asks about how the pet and other pets in the family are doing.
I don't believe there are many other veterinarians who are this interested in their pet clients and their families. Indeed, I often think of Dr. Kamal as the 'Dr. James Herriot' of Long Beach."
